EFC was featured in the Wall Street Journal article: "The U.S. Bet to Bring Chips Home."

On the afternoon of Friday, February 25th, Executive Vice President, Matt Adams, released the following statement to customers regarding the Ukraine crisis: 

Executive Vice President, Matt Adams, testified on behalf of EFC Gases & Advanced Materials on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the EPA Hearing “Phasedown of Hydrofluorocarbons: Establishing the Allowance Allocation and Trading Program under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act”.  Addressing a group of nearly three hundred stakeholders, Adams’ focus was on identifying gaps in the Agency’s ruling on the AIM Act’s allowances to the semiconductor industry as well as educating on the intricacies of their supply chain.

EFC Gases & Advanced Materials has doubled its capacity to produce Octafluorocyclobutane C4F8 gas through the construction of a dedicated thirty-foot distillation column. This allows us to ensure the highest purity and further streamline the purification process, creating shorter lead times.

We are proud to announce our Chief Scientist has been named the 2020 recipient of the American Chemical Society National Award for Creative work in Fluorine Chemistry. Bob is just the 2nd industrial chemist to receive this honor since the awards annual inception in 1972.
